Yesterday we flew to Ayers Rock by way of Alice Springs. Didn't get to see "beautiful" downtown Alice, sorry Heather and Margie. It's cool and plesant here, 85 and dry. There has been more rain than usual so the desert flowers are beautiful. Last night we watched the sun set against Ayers Rock turning it orange, red then purple all while we were being served chanpaign. This morning we toured the base and got aquainted with the Aborigine culture. Our driver had lived with them and had wonderful insights. It's a sad story, they were treated a lot like our Native Americans.
Pictures still pending, I'm getting closer. Will try after the camera recharges. Thanks for the help, Kevin.
